MARRIED At First Sight TV husband Andrew Jones has earned the new villain badge after verbal diarrhoea, which saw him slagging out his partner Cheryl.

The firefighter, 38, who was dubbed a “jilted groom” when he was dumped a day after marrying Lauren, had a second chance at love with the 25-year-old hairdresser.

But last night during a boys’ night, Andrew admitted he was a better match to his first wife Lauren.

“Lauren, she had a lot going on,” he said.

“Lauren had a chance to come back and I knocked it. Yeah, thinking things couldn’t get worse. Lauren is actually heaps more fun to hang out with than Cheryl.”

Andrew declared “I’m single” after he gestured grabbing Cheryl’s boobs, which sent social media into meltdown.

“I’m the oldest one with the youngest one. It was always going to work,” Andrew continued.

“Hair extensions, The Kardashians. It’s a funny thing. If I talk, I get shut down pretty quick. It’s either like a ... ‘I dunno’ or it’s like a genuine: ‘Yeah.’

“But when she talks I try and jump in and make it a conversation. But she talks super quick, she drives like she talks - Lalalala.”

Hero husbands of the episode, Simon and Sean told cameras how uncomfortable the episode made them feel.

“You talk about affection being too much? A conversation seems too much for Cheryl,” Andrew said.

“Anyway let’s talk about everyone else’s marriages, slash partnerships, slash ‘my wife left me on my first night’, slash I’m in separate rooms to my partner.

During the girls’ night, Cheryl appeared hopeful for next week: “We had a really long conversation this morning and I feel like we’re two different people so yeah it’s really refreshing. I’m excited.”
