Mark Beretta’s 22 year marriage sadly came to an end earlier this year, however, it seems the loveable dad of two has no shortage of female admirers.
Beretta confirmed the news yesterday saying: “At the start of the year, after a great deal of reflection and 22 years of marriage, Rach and I came to the conclusion that a separation was best for us. We remain good friends, and our two children and grandchild remain our focus and priority as we move forward with love, dignity, and respect.”
While there is no suggestion a third party was involved in the marriage failing, Beretta may not be short on company for too long.
Among the many female admirers of the new grandfather is Sunrise clinical nutritionist Sarah Di Lorenzo, whose 50th he attended last year.
Di Lorenzo is a regular on Beretta’s Sunrise program and attended the Tour de Cure snow ball alongside him earlier this year.
Do Lorenzo, a mother of three girls, recently featured in Confidential’s Sydney’s top Bachelorette list.
Also reportedly close to ‘Beretts’ is pop sensation Cody Simpson’s mother, Angie, also single, who is noticeably quick to like many of the sports reporter’s instagrams images and currently stars on Ten’s The Amazing Race.
“Since Mark and Rachael split earlier this year, he has been spotted out and about a lot,” one unnamed source said.
Beretta and Rachel, who met in 1999, share two children, daughter Ava, 19, and son Dan, 16.
There were a few signs there may have been trouble in his marriage leading up to the split.
The pair placed their Mosman home on the market in February.
And they sold their Balmoral Slopes home in May for $13 million. They had to settle for less than their initial expectations of $15.5 million, slashing the listed price by $1.75 million.
He has also been spotted driving a $275,000 Maserati.
REAL HOUSEWIVES SHOW THEY MEAN BUSINESS
Well that didn’t take long.
Just hours after The Real Housewives of Sydney hit our screens, the ladies jumped at the opportunity to post and promote their businesses via social media.
It comes as no surprise the ladies planned on using the world’s most popular TV franchise as a platform to push their products, with women from various spin-offs of the franchise doing the same.
Just like the Real Housewives of New York’s Bethenny Frankel founded and successfully promoted skinnygirl off the back of her appearance on the popular program, so too are our Aussie chicks.
Equestrian lover Victoria Montana – who claims getting Botox is basic manners – announced a competition offering her followers the chance to meet Olympian James Patterson Robinson and a free outfit from her clothing line.
Fellow housewife Nicole O’Neil wasted no time getting her Bon Patch vitamin patches on guests at the premiere. She is also using US fashion tech business LKT Australia to allow her fans to “shop all my favourite looks from Episode 1”.
Krissy Marsh used the buzz around the Foxtel and Binge program to promote her cookbook The Real Krissy Marsh Cookbook.
FORGOTTEN INGHAM – A ‘HIPPY TYPE’ WHO LOVES KNITTING
The Ingham surname has dominated the celebrity news in recent months, thanks to star-studded and extravagant European weddings.
However, there’s one little-known family member of the famous chicken clan who has caught Confidential’s attention.
Giselle is the daughter of Robby Ingham – son of poultry and bloodstock baron Bob Ingham – and former model Sarah Ingham, who was once linked to James Packer.
While socialite Jess, businessman Johnny, Tussle Together founder Katie and shoe designer Tamie promote their lavish lifestyles online, Giselle bucks the trend.
Enigmatic “hippy” Giselle, 22, has shunned the spotlight her entire life and has flown relatively under the radar.
The one-time ballerina has been based in the US and Europe where she trained and performed, signing with a number of high-profile schools including the European School of Ballet and the Houston Ballet Academy.
She has reportedly recently returned home to Australia with her boyfriend.
While Tamie and Jess, in particular, are known for having a penchant for designer threads and often flaunt their ensembles via social media, Giselle is known for sewing and knitting her own threads.
Branded by those who know her as “a sweet, kind, fun, hippy type”, Giselle knits and sells garments via Instagram, with her Love Odesque Instagram page loved by 240 of her followers.
Meanwhile, over on TikTok, where she is known as Princess. Smell, she is more prominent, with a huge 137,000 followers who watch her do make-up tutorials and try on various outfits.
