MARRIED At First Sight producers have put each remaining couple on the spot overnight, grilling them about their romance and whether they have had sex with their TV partners.
In an online video clip released by Channel 9 overnight, the set-up brides and grooms have lifted the lid on their romance after the cameras stop rolling.
Here is how each couple responded:
Dean and Tracey
The controversial couple have already admitted to having sex on the first night of their TV “marriage” but despite this, Tracey admits that Dean is not “a romantic guy.”
“Look Dean’s bought me flowers on a few occasions. Yes, he’s done breakfast,” she said.
“It’s a start babe. It’s a start.”
Telv and Sarah
This season’ most popular couple suggested they had done everything but have sex.
“We’ve done a lot of kissing, a lot of cuddling, a lot of spooning. What did we call it before? Aggressive snuggling,” Sarah confessed.
“But none of the old hide the sausage.”
Telv added: “We haven’t hit the home run yet.”
“I haven’t found the key to the chastity belt. I’m looking through the maze still trying to find my way home,” he said.
Patrick and Charlene
Patrick has revealed that “on the romance side it hasn’t been as much as I want” in the online clip.
In last night’s episode the couple agreed that he constantly made himself emotionally available but Charlene did not talk about her feelings as much. The show’s most successful pair so far this season both decided to stay last night.
Justin and Carly
Justin has described their romantic relationship as a “slow burn.”
“Things are going really well. We’ve got a good friendship — I’ve just done a big trip to Milan for business so we sort of broke the momentum a little bit there,” he said.
“So we’re hoping Melbourne now. We’re hoping to get away from everyone — there’s no work and pick up where we left off before I went away.”
Carly described their partnership as “on and off.”
Nasser and Gabrielle
The couple did their best to avoid the question so much so they decided to lock lips during the chat despite last night’s commitment ceremony, which Gabrielle chose to “leave” because she felt friend-zoned by Nasser.
“Why is Nasser’s romance and Gabrielle’s romance so important to every body else?” he said.
The couple revealed they had a “sexual connection” on their honeymoon but in last night’s ceremony, Nasser said he was not sexually attracted to Gabrielle anymore.
John and Melissa
John suggested that he and Melissa were taking things slow as their romance plays out on national TV.
“We’re good. Life’s good. Fondness — we’re both fond of each other,” he said.
Troy and Ashley
Fiercely private Ashley dodged the question in the Channel 9 video, saying “We kill each other playing Mario Kart in a romantic way.”
“Yeah, I think we’re going pretty good,” she added.
