Unlucky in love reality TV contestant Natasha Spencer is engaged.

After failing to find the one on Married At First Sight, Confidential can reveal the business woman will marry boyfriend of several months, Gary Green.

“It is all pretty fresh,” Spencer said.

“It just happened. It is a pretty ridiculous ring.”

Green proposed mid-air on a Sydney Seaplanes joy flight over the Harbour City last week, presenting Spencer, 28, with a five carat diamond ring.

He imported the diamond from overseas and worked with Dustins Jewellers locally on the design.

After the flight, the couple enjoyed a seafood lunch overlooking the water at Empire Lounge in Rose Bay.

“I got the answer just as we came back over the Harbour Bridge,” Green explained.

“Tash can light up a room but also seeing parts of her fragility and her being so authentic, that is what I love. She is a woman that has got it together and brings out the best in me.”

Green, who never watched Spencer on MAFS, runs several businesses, including one titled Mr Wagyu Beef.

The pair met through friends last year, developing a friendship first throughout Covid before officially becoming a couple in March.

They were photographed together at the launch of Nontre.co at Planar restaurant in Darling Harbour last week.

“It is over the last six months that we’ve become super close,” Spencer said. “Gary declared he loved me in February and we started dated in March.”

Spencer meanwhile was partnered with Mikey Pembroke on the 2020 season of controversial reality show, MAFS.

“MAFS was the breakdown I needed and the reality check I needed,” she said. “I’ve been able to do so much work on myself over the last year and I have come out really sure of who I am and have really strong boundaries. Gary is just someone who is constantly behind me, helping me be the best person that I can be, supporting me in all of my endeavours with work. It is the healthiest relationship I’ve ever had.”

While Spencer’s only previous marriage was on television, Green has been married before.

“I had one go at it that wasn’t successful so we are both in the same boat,” he said. “We have both been through the hoops once and worked out what is good and what is not. We reckon we can get it right the second time round.”

The wedding, they said, would be held in Byron Bay next March.

“We will be having every single bell and every single whistle, there will be nothing stopping us,” Spencer said. “It is fun this time because I get to actually plan my own wedding, it is not done by producers.”
