Jimmy Nicholson and Holly Kingston say they will be a Bachelor success story despite others falling short in the love stakes after their time on the reality show.

Commenting after Bachelorette Brooke Blurton’s recent break-up with her choice on the show, Darvid Garayeli, Nicholson and Kingston say they are working towards a wedding and having children together.

“For both of us, we are not just telling people what they want to hear, which I think other people who have gone through this, you get sucked into it,” Nicholson told Confidential.

“If Brooke and Darvid didn’t work out, that sucks for them but I was conscious of the fact I wasn't going to call Holly my life partner if I didn’t see her as that just to keep everyone happy. We have been really true the whole time and I think that is maybe where people get it wrong.”

While many have stayed with their chosen ones after filming wraps in the Bachelor format that has run for nine years, there has been some spectacular love failures including Blake Garvey, Nick ‘Honey Badger’ Cummins and Richie Strahan.

“If you are not sure as shit you are going to be with that person, don’t tell the world that you’ve found your life partner,” he said.

Before we hear wedding bells for Nicholson and Kingston, the couple have started working together, launching exclusively with Confidential a video series called 100 Honeymoons, where they road test travel destinations.

“We are not going in there trying to be Getaway hosts, we are just being ourselves,” Nicholson said. “And hopefully by the hundredth, we will have a pretty good idea where to go for our honeymoon.”

The first episode was shot in Mudgee, the second in Sydney and coming up is Queensland and the Daintree and Fiji. Discussions are underway with broadcasters to team up with the pair.

“We know we are going to get married, it is just a matter of when,” Nicholson said, Kingston adding: “He has got to propose first.”
