Loved-up Karl Stefanovic spends summer holiday with Jasmine Yarbrough in Byron Bay

AFTER an exhausting year of exotic holidays, Karl Stefanovic and girlfriend Jasmine Yarbrough are finally getting the chance to relax much closer to home.

AFTER an exhausting year of exotic holidays, Karl Stefanovic and girlfriend Jasmine Yarbrough finally got the chance to relax from it all on the beach.

In the past year, one of Australia’s most unlikely celebrity couples has jetskied with millionaires, mingled with fashion stars in Paris and partied with the mega-rich in Aspen.

Now, flanked by his lady love’s sister Jade, her business partner Tamara Ingham and Jasmine’s parents Bob and Cheryl, a shirtless ­Stefanovic soaked up the sun on a secluded beach in Byron Bay.

It is understood the pair will see in the new year there and can also celebrate one year as a couple, since meeting “through mutual friends” aboard a festive-season yacht party in Sydney last December.

Having racked up the frequent flyer miles over the past 12 months, rumours  are  now  deafening that the pair, who also moved into their own love nest in Sydney’s super-posh Mosman, will take the next big step and announce their engagement in 2018.

Stefanovic, 44, and Yarbrough, 33, showed they share a taste for the finer things, posting a snap on the steps of swanky Byron Bay restaurant Rae’s on Wategos with their high-profile inner circle of pals, who include millionaire Tim Holmes a Court.

“I certainly did not envisage meeting someone five months after I broke up with my wife,” Stefanovic said in July of his girlfriend, whose initials he has since had tattooed on his wrist.
