Lara leads as Aussie fashion set as it glams up for Paris

Australia’s fashion set, including Lara Worthington, have made their way to Paris for what’s considered the most prestigious fashion event in the world.

Australia’s fashion set have made their way to Paris for what’s considered the most prestigious fashion event in the world.

Lara Worthington is one of the many Aussies who have been roaming the streets of Paris, attending multiple shows, including celeb-fave brand Loewe’s runway presentation on Saturday.

She took to social media to share a snap of herself with other fashion A-listers including former Vogue China editor-in-chief Margaret Zhang and actor of the moment Sophie Wilde.

Actor Gracie Otto, models Victoria Lee and Shanina Shaik, influencers Alyce Tran and Elle Ferguson, Vogue Australia editor Christine Centenera, creative director Amanda Shadforth and publicist Camille Thioulouse are also in Paris for the biannual event.

Ferguson attended the Acne show and has been meeting with brands including Dior, Louis Vuitton and Christian Louboutin.

First Colours was selected to show in the One To Watch group showcase. The emerging Aussie brand, founded by Emily Savage, will show eight looks as part of the feature.

First Colours features 100 per cent recycled, organic, natural or deadstock fabrics.

Paris Fashion Week regular Zimmermann is no stranger to the week-long event.

The brand, founded by Nicky and Simone Zimmermann in 1991, has made appearances at a number of international fashion weeks, including New York and Paris. Zimmermann made its Paris Fashion Week debut in 2022, returning again 2023 and, now, 2024.

It will show its latest ready-to-wear collection on Monday.
