Kylie Minogue touches down at Sydney airport

Kylie Minogue has touched down at Sydney International Airport, bringing a touch of effortless chic as she appeared dressed for the British winter.

Straight from her Las Vegas residency, Kylie Minogue has touched down in Sydney for a well earnt break.

Minogue appeared relaxed in baggy black pants, sneakers, a t-shirt and leather jacket as she made her way out of Sydney International Airport early Tuesday.

It has been a huge few months for Minogue, particularly in the US, where she has previously not had the same success as in the UK, Australia and other markets.

She has been performing a residency at The Venetian in Vegas.

Her next dates there are April 26 and 27.

She won a Grammy for her hit Padam Padam earlier this year and was recently awarded the global icon Brit Award as she was recognised as a “master of musical reinvention” for her 36 years “and counting” of music.

“There’s a part of me that’s still the 14-year-old girl dreaming in her room of making music and being in this industry,” she said in her speech.

Earlier this month, Minogue joined pop icon Madonna on stage at her Los Angeles show to perform I Will Survive and Can’t Get You Out Of My Head.

In July, Minogue will headline the annual Splendour in the Grass festival in Byron Bay.

The Aussie will play an exclusive show at the festival that kicks off on July 19. Other artists on the bill include GFlip, Turnstile, Tash Sultana, Future, Arcade Fire and Baby Gravy.

Her arrival sparked suggestions she may make an appearance at Bluesfest in Byron this weekend, but Splendour in the Grass has signed her exclusively.
