Radio host Kyle Sandilands has slammed US rapper Machine Gun Kelly on-air for wanting to “snag” his then 17-year-old celebrity crush Kendall Jenner.

Radio host Kyle Sandilands has slammed Machine Gun Kelly on-air, branding the musician an “idiot” over comments he once made about model Kendall Jenner.
Last week a 2014 interview resurfaced in which the US artist, born Colson Baker, revealed his hopes of hooking up with his “celebrity crush” Jenner, despite her being 17 at the time and him being 23.
The legal age of consent in Los Angeles, where Jenner lives, is 18 and Sandilands called Kelly a “dumba**” for gushing over Jenner at the time.
“That’s illegal you dumba** idiot,” Sandilands said on the Kyle and Jackie O show on Tuesday.
“He’s saying some dog from a rock band rooted a … that doesn’t mean it’s ok.”
During the old interview, an interviewer from Fuse asked Kelly, “Who was your first celebrity crush?”, to which he replied: “I don’t care who my first celebrity crush was cause right now it’s Kendall Jenner.
“God d**n I’ve said that so many motherf***ing times, I hope that I’m snagging that. Don’t let me move to LA … Oof, I’m finding her.”
The interviewer then asked: “Are you counting down the days until she’s 18?”
Kelly replied, “I’m not waiting til she’s 18, I’ll go now. I’m 23 dog I’m not like a creepy age you know.
“I’m 23, she’s 17, and she’s a celebrity, there is no limits right there.”
He then bizarrely listed other high profile stars who have dated girls under the legal age limit, including Led Zeppelin.
“I don’t care. Say what you want man. If Kendall Jenner was in your bedroom naked and you’re 50, you’re going.”
Kelly, 31, recently announced his engagement to Hollywood actor Megan Fox, 35.
