THE day after it emerged that Kyle Sandilands is being investigated by ACMA for sledging agriculture minister Barnaby Joyce on his radio show the shock jock has failed to front for work.
The notoriously sickie-prone Sandilands left his radio partner Jackie “O” Henderson to do the heavy carrying at KIIS FM on Friday, Sandilands either too overwhelmed, too ill or otherwise to front for his shift.

A KIIS spokeswoman denied Sandilands’ absence was due to the presenter having a dummy spit after it appeared his emboldened outraged spray at the government minister over the exportation of Johnny Depp’s dogs started to backfire on him.
“Kyle absolutely hasn’t been taken off air. Unfortunately he’s away sick today but we’re looking forward to having him back next week,” the spokeswoman told Confidential.
Sandilands was full of fury when he called Joyce a “wanker”, a “gerbil” and a “disgrace” on May 15.
On Thursday it then emerged the Australian Communications And Media Authority (ACMA) were set to investigate Sandilands over the tirade.
On May 18 KIIS released a statement, which said: “We confirm that we have received correspondence from Mr Joyce’s office, and are responding in accordance with Commercial Radio Australia Codes of Practice and ACMA requirements.”
In his absence KIIs was running pre recorded interviews.
