Kyle Sandilands addresses rumours partner Tegan Kynaston is pregnant

KIIS FM radio host Kyle Sandilands has addressed speculation he and partner Tegan Kynaston are pregnant.

Kyle Sandilands has shut down rumours he and his partner are pregnant with their first child.

The popular KIIS FM breakfast radio host has been the subject of much industry speculation this week over whether or not his marketing executive partner, Tegan Kynaston is pregnant.

Some have even claimed an announcement is imminent.

When contacted though, Sandilands said: “No, we’re not pregnant but not from lack of trying.”

Sandilands, who celebrated his 50th birthday earlier this year, and Kynaston have been together for several years.

Sandilands has previously spoken of his difficult childhood but has said he and Kynaston would like to become parents.

On air in August, he said: “We have decided that we’ll try for a baby, I suppose. There’s a lot of pressure. I didn’t want to bring it up in case she feels pressure.”

Earlier this year he said his difficult childhood had influenced his thoughts on fatherhood.

“You’ve both got to dedicate your life, you’ve got to not be selfish and you’ve got to not let that kid come second, that’s just not an option – because I was the kid that came second,” Sandilands said in a podcast interview with Mamamia.
