Kyle and Jackie O cop backlash after ripping into Intern Pete: ‘You piece of sh*t’

KYLE Sandilands and Jackie O have copped backlash after ripping into KIIS FM producer Pete Deppelerhas, known as “Intern Pete,” in a foul-mouthed gang-up live on air.
In a short clip posted on Facebook overnight, Sandilands is shown handing the prankster a large vase, which was sent in as a gift, in the studio.
Intern Pete accidentally drops the clay ornament when the shock jock slams him.
“Oh Jesus Peter! Are you joking?” Sandilands cuts off an interview.
“You idiot! What? You idiot” Jackie O added.
Sandilands then accuses Intern Pete of dropping the vase on purpose.
“You did that on purpose, you piece of sh*t,” he said.
“He dropped it on the floor on purpose — the bloody big pot and broke it into a million little pieces.
“Pete I saw you! You tumbled that on purpose.”
Intern Pete is shown shaking his head in denial saying, “I didn’t mean it.”
Fans have since jumped to Intern Pete’s defence, calling out the radio duo for the way they handled the situation.
“Poor Pete he gets spoken to so badly on the show...anyway looked accidental to me,” one user said.
Another wrote: “Funny we teach kids not to bully each other every day yet adults are calling adults idiots. Jackie you should be ashamed. If your daughter came home and said some one called her an idiot will you think it’s OK? Intern Pete is someone’s son.”
A social media manager for the Kyle and Jackie O Facebook page has now back peddled by confirming it was an accident.
“After looking at the video we think poor intern Pete dropped the pot accidentally,” the comment said.
“At the time we thought he may have done it on purpose hence the shock and disgust on our faces. It was clearly an accident and mistakes happen Pete.
“We love you mate (even though you are really clumsy but we love you for that too).”
Well, that’s awkward.
