KSUBI co-founder Dan Single was yesterday recovering in hospital after falling from the third level of a Paris hotel.
The 36-year-old father-of-one, who was overseas to watch his model wife Bambi Northwood-Blyth walk for Paris Fashion Week, is understood to have fallen out of a window on the third level of a hotel, believed to be the Grand Amour, shattering bones in his legs.
It is understood he has already been operated on, has undergone an MRI and was put into an induced coma in a nearby hospital.
When The Sunday Telegraph spoke to a number of Single’s friends yesterday, many were reluctant to divulge details surrounding his condition, however they did confirm “an incident took place”.
“There is no brain injury and no back injury but he fell three storeys,” a source said.
“His legs are a complete mess; he won’t be walking for a very long time. He is not in a good way. It’s expected both he and Bambi will have to stay over there for quite a while because he’s not able to fly.”
A spokesman for the Hotel Grand Amour confirmed there had been an incident but would not comment further.
On Friday Northwood- Blyth posted an image of herself out the front of the Hotel Grand Amour alongside the caption: “Back to the best place in the world. Rue Paradise.”
Northwood-Blyth left the hotel just before 10am with a male and two female friends in a dark car. She said she did not want to comment but confirmed she was “OK, thanks”.
The Hotel Grand Amour is in a hip part of Paris’s 10th arrondissement and is popular with fashion and music types. It occupies a graceful six-floor Parisian terrace.
