RAY Hadley has notched-up his 100th consecutive radio survey win, thanking boss John Singleton, breakfast host Alan Jones, his children, sponsors and listeners who have stuck by him.

The controversial figure has also used the opportunity to apologise to anyone he may have offended over his 12 years on air at top rating radio station 2GB.

“John Singleton has been incredibly loyal, he stuck by me when he could’ve easily cut me adrift,” Hadley said on air this morning.

“I’ve made some massive mistakes. They’ve been well documented, and hopefully I’m a better person today because of the blunders I’ve made. My behaviour at times has been short of what it should have been, hopefully the people affected have been accepted what have been sincere apologies.”

The latest radio ratings GFK survey, the seventh for the year and the second last for 2016, sees Hadley’s mornings show hold a top share of 16.4 per cent of the overall audience, down 1.1 percentage points from the previous survey.

“To my children — to Daniel, to Laura, Emma and Sarah, who had a dad who would spend Christmas Day on air for the bulk of their early years and a dad who worked seven days a week for far too long, they are my strength, my inspiration as they make their own mark on the world as productive, successful adults of whom I’m immensely proud.”

“I’ve made some massive mistakes,” the star confessed.
