The single Canadian has almost two million followers on Instagram, with her post about being lonely attracting thousands of comments and hundreds of thousands of likes.
“I didn’t think people would actually take me so seriously,” she said. “I couldn’t look at my DMs (direct messages). It was a constant stream. It was ridiculous.”
As for dating, Bouchard said she doesn’t think men are intimidated by her success.
“I hope that is not the case because that just makes me lonelier,” she said. “Approach me, I won’t bite.”
Bouchard said she has not resorted to online dating as yet.
“I have had people send me screen shots of people pretending to be me on dating apps. That is a bit much,” she said. “What happens when they meet up, totally catfished.”

“Someone who is confident and funny and has a good dress sense,” she explained.
“And also they need to be taller than me and have more muscle than me.”
