Kim Kardashian give Aussie mum’s hair product her tick of approval

An Aussie mum’s $89 hair product has been promoted by ultimate influencer Kim Kardashian on Instagram — for free.

An Aussie mum has hit the jackpot after the ultimate influencer, Kim Kardashian, was spotted using the hair product she founded two years ago.

While some companies pay millions of dollars for an endorsement by the most famous Kardashian sister, Tara Simich, the 31-year-old founder of Mermade Hair was “elated” to see an Instagram image of Kardashian’s hair stylist, Chris Appleton, using the $89 hair gadget on the mega star.

Kardashian posted the story of herself getting her hair done with the device to her account, which is followed by 283 million people, earlier today.

“Chris has been a huge supporter of our brand since our inception in 2019 and it’s a real honour to know it is still his favourite product,” Simich told Confidential yesterday.

While it was rumoured Simich paid the youngest Kardashian, Khloe $500,000 to promote the hair tool, today’s post by Kim was for free and will no doubt give the brand an enormous sales boost.

Simich previously said Khloe’s social media endorsement saw 11 times the volume sell online in the first 24 hours of her post.

Founded in 2019 by Perth businesswoman and mother-of-two Simich, Mermade Hair now boasts 301,000 Instagram followers and a string of celebrity fans including Hailey Bieber.
