KIIS FM host Jackie O Henderson has revealed her self-esteem has taken a dive and she is taking drastic action to improve it.

KIIS FM breakfast star Jackie O Henderson revealed she has quit social media because it negatively affects her self-esteem.

Henderson and her co-host Kyle Sandilands were discussing US model Hailey Bieber’s decision to limit her Instagram use after it led her down a “dark hole” and Henderson said she can relate.

“I’ve stopped using Instagram because I get off it and feel not good about myself. I actually feel worse than before I went on it,” Henderson, 46, said on the Kyle and Jackie O show this morning.

“I just think it’s not real, everything is so Photoshopped, everyone just looks like they’re having a better life than I am.

“It’s like they’re getting out more and they’re doing things.”

Sandilands said, “Everyone is pretending, the whole thing is pretend in all honesty.”

Henderson split with ex-husband Lee in 2018 after 18 years together. They share 10-year-old Kitty.

Henderson, who has 204,000 followers, said she’s considering permanently deleting the app although she has not yet deleted her account.

“That’s why I’ve gone off it for a while because I just think, ‘You know what? Why am I on here?’... I don’t want to know what everyone is doing. I think I’m going to delete the app.”

The Masked Singer judge previously revealed that she now lives a much quieter life with her 10-year-old daughter Kitty in Sydney’s eastern suburbs than she did before the pandemic.

Henderson bought an $11 million home in Woollahra last year, following her split with ex-husband Lee Henderson after 18 years together.

They continue to amicably co-parent their only child Kitty.
