COUNTRY music star Keith Urban makes no apologies for singing about his sex life with wife Nicole Kidman.
“Gemini is just a simple, fun, sexy-arse song about my wife,” Urban yesterday told The Daily Telegraph about the single and its lyrics “she’s a maniac in the bed but a brainiac in the head” and “she’ll wake you to make love in the middle of the night”.
“There certainly would have been a time when I wouldn’t have been sure it felt right coming out of my mouth,” the Nashville-based singer said. “But if I feel that way about her, what is the problem?

Urban is back home to promote his new album Graffiti U, which also includes the track Female — described as an empowering anthem amid the Me Too movement. “I am the father of young girls hoping that they can feel the power of that song,” Urban said.
Graffiti U, which Urban called a “love letter to music”, also features collaborations with pop singer Julia Michaels, Ed Sheeran and Chris Martin. “I love that I get to make music and that I get to make it with whoever the hell I want to make it with,” Urban said.
