A temporary apprehended violence order has been taken out on behalf of former Home And Away star Kate Ritchie against her husband Stuart Webb.

A NSW Police spokesman confirmed to The Daily Telegraph that while no charges had been laid against Webb, 39, they were “investigating an incident at a home in Randwick on Thursday”.

The listing states the AVO is being applied for by a Constable Dean Hodges for Katherine Leigh Ritchie against Stuart Broughton Webb.

Ritchie put on a brave face and was all smiles on Saturday night where she won gongs at the Australian Commercial Radio Awards in Brisbane.

She was seen wearing her wedding ring as she returned to Sydney from Brisbane on Sunday.

Ritchie and her Nova Drive show co-hosts Tim Blackwell and Marty Sheargold won Best Networked Program and Best Syndicated Australian Program.

“Without any disrespect towards the radio industry, I would not say it is my preferred medium, but I am absolutely loving it these days and that comes from being part of a show that has enjoyed incredible continued success,” Ritchie said.

“In my heart I am still very much an actor and some people might say my best acting work now happens between 4pm and 6pm every day across the nation. It is lovely that my radio career goes from strength to strength, but I would also hate the television industry to forget about me.”

For years Ritchie and Webb’s relationship had been subject to scrutiny in the tabloid magazines and newspapers, however it is understood that strain had been placed on their relationship following Webb being charged with drink driving back in April.

Webb was charged with drink driving while his licence was suspended after he was pulled over by police after allegedly running a red light near the home he shares with Ritchie. He is yet to enter a plea.
