KATE Ritchie made a rare public appearance with daughter Mae Webb yesterday, stepping out at a preview for the Australian Museum’s Spiders: Alive and Deadly exhibition.

The Nova drive host and her two-year-old joined a coterie of celebrities and their offspring at the function yesterday, including John Eales with daughters Evie and Francesca, Leigh Sales with sons Daniel and James, Angela Bishop with daughter Amelia and Prinnie Stevens with daughter Sania.

Ritchie uploaded a video of her outing with the toddler to her 130,000 Instagram followers, in which an excited Mae clutches a witches hat for Halloween.
