WELL, this is a wheel pain in the boot.

As if being stuck on the side of the road when his $160,000 2017 Mercedes C63 S Coupe conked out last week wasn’t bad enough, well-remunerated Channel 9 star Karl Stefanovic has been reduced to two wheels.

The Today host was yesterday spotted riding a Vespa through the streets of Sydney, digging into the change pouch on a fuel’s errand to refill the little tank.

And while he dipped his boot into the hipster pool with a manbag slung across his shoulders, Stefanovic stayed businesslike and stuck to his suit as he rolled with the punches.

The cruel wheels of fate began to turn when Stefanovic’s brand new black Mercedes broke down, causing traffic chaos on Mosman’s Rangers Ave on Australia Day last week.

But the unfazed Stefanovic smiled through selfies with passers-by and even called 2GB’s Ray Hadley to deliver a traffic report.
