KARL Stefanovic’s management has rubbished rumours the Today host has proposed to girlfriend Jasmine Yarbrough .
After Confidential was contacted by a source claiming the pair became engaged during a tropical getaway this week, Stefanovic’s management issued a swift response.
“It is not true,” Stefanovic’s representative said in a text message.
Stefanovic, 43, began dating the shoe designer after splitting from his wife of 21 years, and the mother of his three children, Cassandra, in September 2016. Stefanovic and Yarbrough, who is 10 years his junior, spent the New Year partying together in Byron Bay.
In October, Stefanovic was head over heels for his “strong, passionate” girlfriend.
“There is a lot of love in my life,” Stefanovic said at the time.
“She’s (Yarbrough) a very strong and passionate person. She has her own world, her own business and her direction.
“And I am happy to support her in any way I can.”
Stefanovic has said in the past that while the intense public attention on their relationship has been a lot for Yarbourgh to deal with, she is attention and they are enjoying their new romance together.
“She is aware of the publicity and I don’t think it is easy,” he said at the time.
“She is back from LA now.
“It is one step at a time and it’s about doing whatever do in a respectful way.
“Life is good, we are moving forward, taking baby steps.
“Hopefully it will be great for everyone.”
