KARL Stefanovic has revealed what his flight to London with Channel 7 rivals Samantha Armytage and Edwina Bartholomew was really like before saying, “I can’t stand them.”
The Today host was on Nova’s Fitzy and Wippa this morning, talking about Confidential’s report over their awkward flight to Europe as well as sharing a hotel all together.
The television celebrities and the radio crew are in the UK ahead of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s wedding this weekend.
Stefanovic joked about trying to “stall” the Channel 7 hosts overseas.
“I have run into Sam and Edwina on the flight over but I am deliberately trying to stall their process while I’m over here — I raid the buffet first thing in the morning,” he joked.

“I can’t stand them — This is a revelation, I know. I can’t stand looking at them.
“I think there’s cracks starting to appear.”
Stefanovic was egged on by radio hosts Ryan ‘Fitzy’ Fitzgerald and Michael ‘Wippa’ Wipfli to call Armytage live on air to set the record straight.
He replied: “I just wanted to have it on the record that there’s no dramas between us — now let’s do her a stinger.”
It took a few seconds for Armytage to realise that she was speaking with Stefanovic when the Nine star said he worked on the breakfast show.
“I’ve never watch it — I’ve heard it to be second rate,” she joked.
Stefanovic snapped back: “Yeah just not in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.”
In a hilarious move, Stefanovic pretended he scored a hotel upgrade.
“I don’t know about you guys but I got upgraded to a penthouse — it’s located on the top level, it’s got a spa and pool and a bar and ping pong tables,” he told Armytage.
“I just thought we could get everyone around and have a drink and break bread. It would just be nice to get all the Aussies together and have a nice time.”
Unexpectedly, Armytage replied: “Like in the spa, do you think?”
“How did you get the upgrade? I got the first floor in a shoebox,” she added.
When the crew laughed off any hostilities between Armytage and Stefanovic, the Channel 7 star answered, “No, don’t be ridiculous” over claims the two hosts had previous tensions.
