Justin Bieber surprises staff at a Manly cafe as he pops in and asks: ‘Do you have Vegemite?’

WHEN most international celebrities visit Australia, they get Vegemite on toast forced upon them at one point or another — but Justin Bieber wanted to try it, stopping by a Manly cafe for a hearty breakfast.

WHEN most international celebrities visit Australia they get Vegemite on toast forced upon them at one point or another.

But so far our favourite Aussie spread has eluded Justin Bieber, leaving him to walk into a Manly restaurant today and order it himself.

Biebs, stunned staff at Manly Wine by walking into the restaurant unexpectedly with an entourage of three men to have brunch.

Manly Wine staffer Camilla Glover told Confidential Bieber asked her: “Do you have that Australian spread that everyone talks about?”

“I said ‘Vegemite?’ and he said ‘that’s the one, have you got some?’ So I made him white toast with butter and vegemite and he enjoyed it,” she added.

“He said he’d never tried it before.”

Ms Glover said Bieber was polite, well-mannered, and shook the staff’s hand before he left the restaurant.

Bieber said he chose Manly Wine because he was “doing a road trip” after his concert at ANZ stadium last night and thought he would stop in.
