Joe Jonas photographed at Bondi Bowlo with new girlfriend Stormi Bree amid Sophie Turner divorce
On Wednesday, Bondi Bowlo president Matty Graham ‘wasn’t really sure what a Jonas Brother was’. But after the world-famous trio — and Joe’s new girlfriend — paid a visit, he’s now a fan.

International singing superstars Kevin, Nick and Joe Jonas popped into the Bondi Bowlo on Wednesday afternoon — and no one was more surprised than the club’s president.
The group — including Joe’s new girlfriend Stormi Bree — enjoyed a pub crawl around Bondi that began at Promenade Restaurant and Beach Bar, and ended with a barefoot game of lawn bowls.
The US band touched down in Sydney on Wednesday morning ahead of their Five Albums. One Night tour, where they were greeted by a sea of fans at the airport.
Joe’s acrimonious divorce with Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner has been in the headlines, but Bondi Bowling Club president Matty Graham was unaware.
“Up until today I wasn’t really sure what a Jonas Brother was,” he said. “But they turned out to be a great bunch of blokes.”
The former Disney Channel stars told staff at the bowlo that it was the first destination they had in mind after flying in from New Zealand.
“Apparently the first place they asked to visit after getting off the flight was Bondi Bowlo, which is a pretty sensible idea,” Mr Graham told The Daily Telegraph.
“They were pretty handy with a bowl, and they were respectful of our greens.
“If their Saturdays are looking free for the foreseeable future, they’ll make a good addition to the Bondi Seagulls Pennant team for the next few decades.”
A video of their outing emerged on TikTok, posted by the account @livebyalexa, in which Joe, 34, could be seen hopping out of a black van and walking into the restaurant.
He joined brothers Kevin, 36, and Nick, 31, at a beachside table.
Alexa told followers in the comment section that she managed to score a selfie with Nick, adding that waitstaff at the venue were all too happy for fans to approach them.
“All the waitresses there were so nice, they were giving us tips on how to approach them,” Alexa wrote.
Another woman, named Lucinda, wrote in the comments she works at Promenade but was rostered off on Wednesday.
She claimed former One Direction band member Louis Tomlinson made an appearance a few days ago, adding staff were given “media training”.
“We had Louis Tomlinson in the other day so we’ve been given media training hahahaha I can’t believe I wasn’t working that day,” she wrote.
The Jonas Brothers will perform at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena Friday and Saturday nights, before heading to Brisbane for a show on March 5 and finally Melbourne for two shows on March 8 and 9.
Joe Jonas and Game of Thrones actor Sophie Turner filed for divorce in September 2023 after four years of marriage, with the filing saying their relationship was “irretrievably broken.”
They share two young daughters, Willa and Delphine.
What ensued from there was tabloid back-and-forth with different, often conflicting, reasons for their sudden split.
Turner, who is known for her star turn as Sansa Stark, found new love with British aristocrat
Peregrine “Perry” Pearson last October.
Jonas, meanwhile, has been seeing 33-year-old American model Bree since January.
Jonas infamously broke up with pop icon Taylor Swift in a 27-second phone call after three months of dating in 2008.
In what was dubbed a publicity masterstroke, Turner stepped out from a dinner in New York City arm-in-arm with the Karma singer amid their divorce last year.
It marks the first time ever the Jo Bros — who shot to fame in 2005 thanks to their appearances across the Disney Channel network — have performed in Australia.
They originally planned to tour the country in 2020 as part of their Happiness Begins tour, but Covid thwarted their plans.
“To our Australian fans, thank you for being so patient, for the Jonas Brothers to come back around and to play a show there,” they said on Instagram in July.
“We have two promises; we’re back, and we’re going to definitely tour Australia! And a promise is a promise right?!”
