Jodhi Meares confirms wedding secret after introducing her husband Nick Finn at party

JODHI Meares has ended speculation by introducing her beau Nick Finn as her husband to guests at an intimate event in Darling Point on Tuesday night.

AFTER months of speculation Jodhi Meares has confirmed she has married.

The Upside founder introduced her beau Nick Finn as her husband to guests at an intimate event in Darling Point on Tuesday night, ending speculation over their relationship status.

“This is my husband, Nick,” she said.

The former model-turned businesswoman only had eyes for the photographer as the pair welcomed guests to the soiree, which was held to thank those who had supported her active wear label since it launched in 2013.

Jodhi and Nick have made no secret of their affection for each other, regularly uploading intimate snaps to Instagram.

It has been almost three months since rumours circulated that Meares, 44, had wed 30-year-old Finn, after the pair uploaded cryptic posts on their respective social media accounts including the hashtag “TheFinns”.

The whirlwind romance began in September, more than six months after she split with Noiseworks front man Jon Stevens.

Since then, the couple has made no secret of their affection for each other, regularly uploading intimate snaps from their overseas travels with the words “love”.

Looking chic in a black silk satin cocktail dress, Meares said the couple was continuing to share their time between Los Angeles and Sydney but hadn’t had the chance to spend much time in Hawaii of late.

She added her luxury active wear range, which has a growing celebrity fan base, would continue to be the main focus for her this year.

Her ex-husband James Packer was also due to attend however had overseas commitments. Packer has remained close friends with the Tigerlily founder, even inviting her on his superyacht in Europe last year to spend time with him and his now fiance Mariah Carey.

Meares’ mum Denise and her sister Sophie were also at the event, which was held at the exclusive waterfront residence, Carthona.

Businessmen including consultant to The Upside, David Bush and The Intersection founder Theo Onisforou joined a group of models and social media identities including Nick Youngquest, Talisa Sutton, Bianca Cheah and Sara Donaldson at the party, which, true to Meares’ style was sophisticated and relaxed.
