Nearly two years after splitting, the high-profile pair were spotted in a heated argument in the street.

The actors, who met on the set of Packed To The Rafters, have attempted to keep their break-up civil since their split in 2015, but the tensions of co-parenting reached boiling point during their public tiff in Melbourne.

Throwing her hands in the air and scowling, 32-year-old Marias was visibly upset as she dropped the couple’s daughter Scout, 4, off to her former fiance.

Stewart, meanwhile, appeared to turn his back on his ex during the fractious discussion, which was noticed by onlookers.

Marais this week began filming season four of Love Child, while Stewart, 41, is back filming on the set of Home and Away.

Marais has previously spoken about co-parenting, telling The Daily Telegraph she and Stewart always make their daughter the priority.

“Ultimately (the important thing is) Scout is happy and well-adjusted and responding well — and it seems as though she’s growing up with kindness, courage, love, all those qualities in her,” she said.
