DAVID Jones face Jessica Gomes is remaining tight lipped on her deal with the department store after ambassadors Montana Cox and Emma Freedman were last week axed at the end of their longstanding contracts.
While neither Gomes nor a DJ’s spokesman would confirm how much longer she has on her contract, the brunette beauty says she is keen to stay on in the plum role for as long as she can.
“We will see what happens, but I absolutely love working for them. It is a discussion that I and David Jones have internally,” she said.
“Being a David Jones ambassador is an incredible gig for any girl. I always feel we’ll be a part of the family and Montana will as well.”
Gomes says she will miss working alongside Cox, who is part of the department store’s spring summer campaign being released today.
“She’s so awesome to work with. She’s one girl who I have so admired. She’s had such an incredible career for such a young girl,” she said.
Gomes, who has been the David Jones face for three years, will return to Australia from her LA base to walk in the glamour spring summer launch on August 3.
“I’ve been hitting the gym and doing tons of pilates, just getting ready to get in a bikini and walk down the runway,” she says.
