James Packer may have missed his best mate’s wedding, but could he be the third wheel on the TV host’s honeymoon?

Sources close to Karl Stefanovic and his new bride Jasmine Yarbrough have revealed that Packer is set to join the pair in Aspen, where the newlyweds are staying at the billionaire’s resort.

A group of friends have joined the couple for the post-wedding holiday, with Packer believed to be flying in this week after celebrating his mother Ros’s 80th birthday.

Packer was one of several high-profile figures — including radio jock Alan Jones and model Jordan Barrett — who were said to be on the guest list but were not at the lavish wedding at Los Cabos in Mexico last Sunday.

Meanwhile, reports to be released today claim Stefanovic’s sons were not at his wedding.

Confidential understands part two of Pacific Magazines’ exclusive with the TV host’s ex-wife Cassandra Thorburn will hit newsstands today.

Last week, Thorburn slammed her ex in a scathing article in New Idea. This week the magazine is expected to report Stefanovic’s sons were not part of official proceedings on his big day.

An insider told Confidential Thorburn has said the children were not at the wedding.

“When the children were asked to go … they were told they did not have to attend the wedding, but Karl wanted them on the trip,” an insider told Confidential.

“(Thorburn) received a call from Jackson on the afternoon of the nuptials confirming they did not attend the ceremony.”

Other sources have told Confidential that Stefanovic’s daughter Ava was part of the day, his eldest son Jackson made a brief appearance at the reception while his son River was not seen.

Stefanovic’s camp yesterday would not confirm or deny the reports.
