Jackie ‘O’ Henderson has promised “a lot more to come” with her Besties business.
Not even a year after bringing Gwyneth Paltrow to Sydney for a one-off speaking event, Jackie O and her own best friend, Gemma O’Neill, are forging ahead with their business.
“Ultimately we just want to be a one-stop-shop for women and their besties to have fun and pamper themselves, to meet other women and create these amazing memories,” the KIIS breakfast host told Confidential.
“We are really excited about the level of demand and the overwhelming positive response that we’ve had because at this stage we are still focused on the holidays and our speaker events and we are going to be expanding the business and growing it.
“Where we can take it, the possibilities are endless but we are excited this year to launch into some internal work and showing women how they can nurture themselves because that side of things is really important.”
Besties is a website curated by the pair with regular speaker events, holidays and luxury products.
In December they travelled to December on their first besties international trip.
This weekend, they’ve been at Osborne House in Bundanoon for a getaway.
“Besties in general is about women putting themselves first for quality time with their best friend because I think we often sacrifice this time in place of work commitments and partners and being a mum in general,” she said.
“I love how this weekend has been about creating a lifelong memory with your best friend, and meeting new best friends as well.”
