The Jason Bourne star made his second trip to Australia last week to visit his friend.
Damon and his wife have been in Northern New South Wales since before New Years, welcoming 2018 in Australia.
On Tuesday the pair were spotted enjoying lunch at a local eatery in Newrybar just a short drive from the Hemsworth compound in Broken Head.
Sneaky guests took photos of the celebrity couple as they enjoyed a private lunch.
The pair are understood to have attended the annual Hemsworth-Pataky New Year’s Eve fancy dress party.
This year’s event was themed around America music festival Burning Man with the guests dressing in elaborate costumes.
Other guests who stayed at their farm over the holidays included Liam Hemsworth and fiancee US pop star Miley Cyrus.
Two years ago Cyrus and the youngest Hemsworth brother’s relationship was confirmed when they were spotted at Falls Festival in Byron Bay.
