British actor Idris Elba is enjoying the last days of summer Down Under after he was spotted on a romantic trip with his wife Sabrina at Wolgan Valley.
The couple, who are in town for the filming of Elba’s latest movie Three Thousand Years of Longing, recently travelled three hours to regional NSW for a couple’s getaway.
They were spotted checking into Emirates One & Only Wolgan Valley, where accommodation ranges between $3,000 to $12,000 per night.
The couple enjoyed horseback riding, archery and a private swimming pool at the lavish estate which boasts 2800 hectares of natural terrain.
A representative at Emirates One & Only Wolgan Valley would not comment on the couple’s stay “due to privacy”.
Former beauty queen Sabrina, 30, described her stay with Avengers star Idris, 48, as “perfect” on Instagram despite sustaining a painful bruise from archery.
“Yes, it was worth the bruise,” she wrote.
The couple, who tied the knot in 2019, celebrated Valentine’s Day weekend at the estate.
With picturesque views of the Blue Mountains, the luxury resort is a favourite among celebrities like cricketer Michael Clarke, who held his 2012 wedding to ex-wife Kyly there.
The resort also features private villas with state-of-the-art appliances, fine dining, a premium spa, wildlife safaris and a helicopter pad for VIP arrivals.
The Elbas, who tested positive for COVID-19 early last year, arrived in Sydney in November and immediately underwent the mandatory 14-day quarantine.
Filming on George Miller’s fantasy romance film, which also stars Tilda Swinton, was scheduled to begin in March 2020, however it was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and began late last year.
