SHE may be one of the best known Bachelor alumni with many magazine covers and regularly in the gossip pages, but Megan Marx swears she avoids the limelight.
Last night the blonde beauty’s journey on Bachelor in Paradise, entering the show alongside Jarrod Woodgate and Ali Oetjen.
Despite her public profile, Marx said she tried to keep her life out of the spot light.
“I try and avoid it ... I haven’t been going to events of thing like that,” Marx said.
“I think it could be one of the reasons I haven’t met anyone.”
Marx said unlike many of her fellow Bachelor and Bachelorette alumni she is not one for tipping off the paparazzi or selling stories to tabloid magazines.
“I am not that kind of person,” she said.
“What everyone else does is up to them and I don’t change the way I think about them for it.”
While she was quick to jump at the chance of going on the new Channel 10 show, Marx revealed to Confidential she did not think she would find love when entering Bachelor in Paradise.
“For me I thought it would be a bit of fun, I pretty much said yes straight away,” she said.
“In all honesty, I did not think it was possible to find love (on the show), but you realise quite quickly that it is possible.”
Marx is rumoured to have continued a relationship with Jake Ellis after the show.
Confidential can reveal both Ellis and Marx spent last weekend in Sydney, but it is unclear if they were together.
Marx was seen out on Sydney Harbour with Elora Murger and Ali Oetjen from the show yesterday.
