IGGY Azalea stunned the GQ awards in Sydney as she was named ‘Woman of the Year’.

Upon accepting the award, the chart-topping musician and X-Factor judge told the audience she now officially has the “best vagina in the world”.

“I didn’t know everybody was going to have such hilarious speeches and I didn’t prepare anything foolishly,” she said.

“Thank you GQ for this award. I have won a lot of awards over the last few years but this one means the absolute most to me because I can finally say I have an award-winning vagina.

“This is amazing to me, I’ve got the best vagina in the world. How do you say no to that ... you don’t.”

In an interview with GQ magazine ahead of the awards, Azalea said she refused to feel guilty for no longer calling Australia home.

The Mullumbimby-born rapper relocated to the US in 2006 and said her identity had been forged after she moved to Miami as a teenager.

“I don’t know why people get so offended as it’s not my home. I don’t miss Australia ... Emigrating when you’re a kid is a defining moment of your life,” she told GQ.

The Fancy singer, 26, has had a tumultuous year. As well as breaking up with fiancee Nick Young, who welcomed his second child to the world less than five months after they split, Azalea has been embroiled in online controversy over her views that Beyonce used a racially charged term to describe white women and is being sued for $1.5 million by a former producer.

Last night’s 10th annual Man of the Year awards ceremony, held at The Ivy, also recognised Jon Hamm, Chris Hemsworth and Joel Edgerton.

Hemsworth, who took out the Man of the Year title, is currently overseas with his family and sent his apologies at not being able to be there in person.

“Thanks ... to all the great men out there that have inspired me,” he said. “And thanks to my wife, and all the great women of the world who make us men truly what we are.”

Mad Men actor Hamm, meanwhile was given the award for International Man of the Decade.

As a tribute to Hemsworth, the magazine spoke to some of his biggest fans for the issue, among them Cate Blanchett.

“I absolutely adore Chris, I’d eat him if I could,” Oscar winner Blanchettt said of Hemsworth.

Thor: Ragnorok director Taika Waititi was equally full of praise.

“Chris is cute, innocent, cuddly, and an absolute sweetheart — like a koala, but without the chlamydia,” he said.

Fellow Hollywood heavyweight Matt Damon said: “Chris is a great friend — and he’s a proper surfer, but his brother Luke is even better. I’m nowhere near as good. I would get killed if I tried to surf with those boys.”
