Australian influencer Indy Clinton has broken her silence about her rhinoplasty, revealing her disappointment with the results four months after the procedure.
Clinton, often dubbed TikTok’s “favourite mum,” opened up in a social media video on Friday after months of criticism over her appearance.
“I’ve been wanting to get this off my chest,” she said.
“Everyone else is talking about it but me.”
Clinton explained she only wanted “minor tweaks” to fix damage from a surfboard accident.
“I’m Italian, I had a Mediterranean nose and I loved that,” she said.
Pulling a face she told viewers, “I didn’t choose this. I didn’t lie to you. It’s just the way the cookie crumbles,” she added.
“Onwards and upwards, as they say.”
The 28-year-old’s comments come four months after she began wearing a face mask in videos to hide her nose, following online bullying and comparisons with Michael Jackson.
Clinton underwent the procedure in March to repair damage from a 2020 injury. With over two million followers, she said the criticism had been overwhelming.
“It keeps me up at night,” she told Confidential at the time. Clinton also revealed she hired a private investigator to track down those who have allegedly been trolling and defaming her for years.
“Some of the defamatory things said about me have been extremely distressing,” she said.
