RESIDENTS in a quiet Hunters Hill street are in despair that their peace is set to be shattered once again by the sound of sobbing bachelorettes.
Locals were dismayed to discover that a neighbouring mansion was once again booked for the next season of The Bachelor as production of season three begins.

Clifton, the sandstone-listed heritage house which rents out for $25,000 a week, was the setting for season two of The Bachelor — where Blake Garvey found love not once, but twice, breaking a few hearts along the way.
And now residents trying to nip to the shops will again have to put up with traffic jams of limos ferrying weeping women away from the house.
Residents say they are disturbed by bright lights used for filming outside at night at the picturesque estate, which is owned by the McCaffrey family, as well as loud noise from the production.
They were so peeved last year they sent letters to Hunters Hill Council to complain but say no action was taken.
“We are not very keen for it. I find it a little bit tacky,” said neighbour Oliver Olivieri, 68.

And while this year residents are hoping things will be different, it’s not looking good, with production company Shine Australia sending out letters to residents just days before production kicked off.
Part of the letter read: “From time to time over the next few months Shine Australia will be filming for a popular TV series.
“The overall period will be from early March until early July 2015, however during this term we intend to film for no more than 30 days ...”
Shine attempted to assure residents most of the filming would take place inside the estate.
“Please be assured that all our crew are fully aware of the sensitivity required when filming within a residential area, and we will take necessary action to minimise our impact.”
Although the production teams promised filming of season two would end at 10pm, locals say crew took longer to pack up.
“The noise was going beyond 11pm,” Olivieri said.
