A Hollywood plastic surgeon has revealed the top beauty procedures that celebrities are requesting during the pandemic.
With masks being implemented last year around the world due to Covid-19, there has been an increase in popularity for plastic surgery above the mask, according to the star medico of E!’s Botched, Dr Paul Nassif.
“Eye, brow, forehead — anything above the face mask,” The Nassif MD skincare founder said.
While Angelina Jolie’s plump lips and Kim Kardashian’s V-shaped jawline have been in-demand for years, eyelid surgery and browplasty (forehead lift) are now more requested than ever.
Wrinkle-free foreheads and arched eyebrows — a must-have among A-list stars — have become go-to procedures during Covid.
Some clients are even changing their eye colour altogether through iris-implant surgery, which Nassif acknowledges is among the more bizarre procedures he has seen over the course of his 20-year career.
Reality TV star Kylie Jenner, who Nassif has no affiliation with, is often hailed by fans for her symmetrical features.
While she denies ever undergoing plastic surgery, the 24-year-old previously admitted to having cosmetic work including filler injections.
The fillers helped her achieve her trademark “Bratz Doll” look with plump lips, high cheekbones, arched eyebrows and flawless skin — which are often requested at clinics.
“People think I fully went under the knife and completely reconstructed my face, which is completely false,” she told Paper magazine.
“I’m terrified! I would never.
“They don’t understand what good hair and makeup and, like, fillers, can really do … It’s fillers. I’m not denying that.”
