Hollywood movie star trumps Kim Kardashian as Sydney’s style icon

Kim Kardashian was overwhelmingly the style icon of choice for Sydney women in 2017, with 1 in 20 women opting for her heavily contoured face, plumped lips and shiny hair. But now, a Hollywood actress has overtaken her.

Ryan Reynolds says Blake Lively made him more empathetic

Sydney women have spoken and they say Blake Lively is hot and Kim Kardashian is not.

Kim Kardashian was overwhelmingly the style icon of choice for Sydney women in 2017, with 1 in 20 women opting for her heavily contoured face, plumped lips and shiny hair.

In 2018 that figure was down to 1 in 750 — plummeting in favour of a more natural look.

Blake Lively, of Gossip Girl and A Simple Favour fame, is now the icon of choice with stylist Sonia Krzypkowka saying women are definitely veering away from fake.
