Despite their split, Naomi Watts has given her ex Liev Schreiber a rave review.
The actress continues to prove she has pulled off one of the most amicable separations in Hollywood during a candid interview published in the upcoming June edition of Vogue Australia in which she talks glowingly of the Ray Donovan star with whom she has two sons.
The pair, long regarded as one of the most rock-solid pairings, announced their shock split last September after 11 years together.
“He’s a fantastic dad, a wonderful, wonderful man, and we still want the absolute best for each other,” Watts says of her actor-director ex.
Watts, meanwhile, describes her status as steadfastly single eight months on from the split.
“I mean, I’m single, I’m co-parenting. I’m doing OK,” she says.
“There are good days and bad days and Liev and I are on great terms and we’re trying to do our absolute best for the sake of the children and we hope to keep moving forward in that way.”
Watts, 47, also claims she is bucking the general Hollywood trend and is being offered more roles as she gets older.
Vogue Australia’s June issue is on sale May 22.
