JARRYD Roughead and wife Sarah are expecting their first child less than a year after the Hawthorn superstar was given the all-clear following his second battle with cancer.

THE most joyous accessory on the Brownlow Medal red carpet tonight is set to be a baby bump sported by Hawthorn star Jarryd Roughead’s wife, Sarah.
In what is a miraculous and fairytale end to the year for the couple, Sarah is believed to be four months’ pregnant.
The understated couple have kept the happy news under wraps but it will be impossible to keep the secret once they walk the red carpet with Sarah showing her growing baby bump.
It is less than a year since Roughead revealed he had been given the all-clear from doctors after a second battle with an aggressive form of skin cancer.
Sarah has never sought the spotlight but has always been a standout at the Brownlow and this year will be no exception as she steps out in a glamour gown by One Day Bridal.
Jesse Murphy, wife of Carlton captain Marc Murphy, will also be sporting a beautiful bump in a gown by Oglio Loro.
While new mums Alex Pendlebury and Mardi Dangerfield will enjoy a rare night out without their baby boys, with Alex opting for a dress by Jane Hill and Mardi turning to her favourite Georgia Young.
With many high-profile WAGS not attending this year, including Rebecca Judd, Nadia Bartel and Emma Hawkins, all eyes will be on the new guard.
