Guy Sebastian says Australia needs to give talent TV shows a rest

GUY Sebastian’s November tour will possibly be his toughest yet, not physically, but in terms of translating his new album — Conscious — as a live show.

The popular singer is due to kick off the tour in November, playing Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on the 3rd of the month and Newcastle’s Civic Theatre the following night. His new single High On Me is out now, with the album to be released on October 27.

“It will be a reasonably stripped-back tour and a bit of a creative set-up, a little bit of electronic triggering but still a pretty rad live band,” Sebastian told Confidential.

“This album is probably going to be the most challenging of my albums to recreate live just because there is quite a bit of production in it and working out how to translate that live.”
