Golden girl glows on: Kylie Minogue powers through Tension Tour

After postponing part of her Tension Tour due to laryngitis, Kylie Minogue is back in action, powering through her global tour.

Australia’s golden girl Kylie Minogue is still spinning, even after a recent bout of illness.

Minogue took to Instagram on the weekend, glamorously posing in what looks like a desert somewhere in Europe.

Just a month ago, the 57-year-old pop icon had to postpone four concerts across Berlin, Poland, Lithuania, and Estonia after being struck by laryngitis.

To give her inflamed vocal cords the rest they needed, Minogue made the tough call to delay part of her Tension Tour, her ongoing sixteenth headlining concert series.

The tour kicked off in February starting with Perth and is set to wrap up on August 26 in Monterrey, Mexico, spanning 66 shows in total.

Most recently, she performed in Bilbao, Spain.

In a recent message to fans, Minogue explained she had come down with laryngitis shortly after wrapping the UK leg of her Tension Tour, and needed a few days to recover before returning to the stage.

“I’m so sorry,” she wrote, announcing the postponement of a few shows.

“Please hang onto your tickets … we’re working hard to reschedule. I love you all and I can’t wait to see you soon.”

Despite the setback, Minogue’s resilience shines through as she continues to bring her electrifying performances to fans worldwide.

Meanwhile, Kylie’s iconic music video style is taking centre stage at the Australian Music Vault.

The new display showcases six standout costumes from her biggest video hits, featuring designs by fashion legends Jean Paul Gaultier and Dolce & Gabbana.

Spanning more than 30 years, the collection highlights how visual style has been key in shaping Minogue’s career and pop image.
