We’re more used to seeing him in his cricketing whites, but former Test cricket star Glenn McGrath has now embraced the tie-dye trend.
McGrath’s wife Sara Leonardi McGrath has a new business venture and it turns out the fast bowling star is her number one fan.
Leonardi, who previously ran her own art gallery, was an interior designer and has worked as a real estate agent, is now selling homemade, bespoke tie-dye T-shirts, with McGrath happy to model the bright and vibrant tees on Instagram.

“Glenn likes wearing them and he likes to see his wife happy,” Leonardi McGrath told Sunday Confidential, clearly thrilled her husband is becoming more adventurous in his approach to fashion.
“When I first met him, he was more of a jeans, RM Williams and a polo or Billabong shirt kind of guy. He isn’t allowed to get dressed on his own,” she said.
Following in the footsteps of labels Stella McCartney and Prada, which have adopted the tie-dye trend, Leonardi McGrath is selling her one-of-a-kind “art works” for $150.
“I do it from the kitchen and my laundry room and my garage,” she said.
“It is a creative outlet for me and people are loving it.
“Everything I do is literally a one-off piece. If you get a shirt from me, you are the only person who is going to have that shirt.”
The American-Italian, who has a four-year-old daughter named Madison with the cricketing great, said her label It’s A Fad is a family affair.
“Holly (Glenn and his late wife Jane’s daughter) is my IT department, but she is doing her HSC, so she is a bit distracted,” she said.
“And Madison says, ‘Mummy can we tie-dye together?’
“This is giving me a creative outlet and I love it.”
