HE WAS once one of Sydney’s most celebrated footballers, however former NRL star Craig Wing’s lavish French wedding almost went unnoticed this week.
Football’s nice guy tied the knot with his long time partner, French-born Johanna Chow Chuen, 32, on Wednesday at Chateau de Berne, in Lorgues, France.
Refreshingly, the privacy-loving Wing didn’t post any images of his nuptials online.
Sunday Confidential discovered the ceremony had taken place after a tip which led us to photos of the pair posted by friends.
The 38-year-old did however share snaps of his luxurious honeymoon in Greece, with the pair photographed enjoying sunset dinners, Santorini lunches and spectacular views.

Wing, who was an NRL pin-up for over a decade when he played for the Roosters and Rabbitohs and has represented Japan in rugby union, met Chow Chen in 2011 in Sydney, when the former model was studying.
At the time, she was working as a hospital administrator for the World Health Organisation. However she packed up and followed her husband-to-be to Japan, where he played for the NTT Shining Arcs.
