Reality television personality Florence Alexandra traded social media for an $8500 nose job in Thailand, but says her cosmetic company got the better end of the bargain.

Reality television personality Florence Alexandra traded social media for a nose job and has no regrets.

The former Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise star recently went under the knife for a rhinoplasty and was open about the experience on her social media, part of her partnership with cosmetic tourism company CosMediTour.

Alexandra received a two-week holiday to Thailand and the rhinoplasty for free, to the approximate value of $8500, in return for a post to her social media and participating in a promotional video that CosMediTour will be able to use for a certain amount of time.

But she says the value the company would get back was greater than what they put in due to her large following.

“I feel very lucky — at the same time I know the power of social media and the reach they get out of it,” she told Confidential.

“If you compared it black and white price-wise, it would definitely come down to the same

worth.

“I have had so many people sending me messages on Instagram and asking me questions and for recommendations.”

The 29-year-old said she was not worried about perceptions of bias or pressure to give a positive review of the experience because the company paid her way.

“They’ve never asked me to give a certain review, they never told me to tell a certain story,” she said.

“We agreed I would tell my story but they never gave me any guidelines — you need to say this or mention that.”
