ACTION man Jean-Claude van Damme finally made it to Sydney today to start his speaking tour - but seemed a little lost for words upon touch down in town.

The Muscles from Brussels has been missing in action after failing to arrive in the country last week.

But the Daily Telegraph managed to spot van Damme at Sydney Airport today although the veteran actor seemed a little reluctant to discuss his late arrival.

The Belgium actor was supposed to fly into the country last Monday but missed the flight then failed to arrive on another flight today.

Jean-Claude, who is due to kick off his Australian speaking tour on Wednesday night at the Star, was due to arrive Monday of last week for a press conference which never happened thanks to a missed flight.

Tour publicist Max Markson told Confidential that Firass Dirani, Brendan Fevola, Anthony Mundine and Chrissie Swan are all attending the Sydney or Melbourne shows of An Evening With Jean-Claude van Damme.
