Elyse Knowles turns eco-warrior with bikini shoot in support of Great Barrier Reef

THE Great Barrier Reed is the latest cause celebre that Australian model Elyse Knowles has lent her famous face to.

Knowles, 24, is fronting a collaboration between Australian label We Are Handsome, the Great Barrier Reef Foundation and lifestyle retailer YOOX, the proceeds of which will go to the foundation.

Elyse is a passionate environmentalist.

The lifestyle label is raising funds for the Great Barrier Reef.

She took part in a breath-taking shoot.

While she’s put her weight behind a number of campaigns, Knowles insists that she’s a keen environmentalist.

“Growing up l was very much an outdoors kid, camping every summer, motorbike riding and skating. I take pride in my country and want to do everything l can help sustain it,” she said, having visited the reef as a child.

And back home she is renovating her home with her boyfriend.

Outside of the Great Barrier Reef, Knowles has been busy putting the final touches on a home with boyfriend Josh Barker.

“I’m just finishing up my first big house renovation with my boyfriend. It’s been two years in the making so it’s very exciting to be nearing the finish mark,” she told Confidential.
