Quick Questions with Elsa Pataky

FAMILY values and down to earth Aussie living — that’s how Elsa Pataky stays grounded even when her Hollywood superstar husband Chris Hemsworth is named as one of the most bankable actors in the business.

Pataky is so close to her family her little brother Christian Prieto — himself a photographer and filmmaker — has moved in with his sister, niece and nephews at the Hemsworth Byron Bay compound.

Mr Prieto has used his time with Pataky to shoot a series of intimate portraits of his sister as part of a collaboration with Spanish fashion label Gioseppo.

“We have a great relationship working together,” Pataky said. “He now lives here with me because I cannot live too far from him.” Hemsworth was recently named Australia’s highest-paid actor but Pataky credits Australia for keeping the family down to Earth.

“We have lived in Byron for three years ... It is paradise for kids,” she said. “I hope the kids will appreciate how amazing it is to live in a place like this’’. Pataky said it was important to keep her children grounded despite their parent’s fame.
