Elle Macpherson praises the biocharger device that saw Pete Evans fined

Elle Macpherson has been singing the praises of the same device that saw chef Pete Evans fined thousands of dollars after he claimed it could treat coronavirus.

Supermodel Elle Macpherson has taken to social media to sing the praises of the same ‘biocharger’ device that saw celebrity chef Pete Evans fined more than $25,000 when he claimed it would combat COVID-19.

The 56-year-old shared an image of the machine on her Instagram to more than 550,000 followers with the caption: “Monday morning recharge”.

In April, former My Kitchen Rules judge Evans was fined $25,200 by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) for breaching the Therapeutic Goods Act in claiming the biocharger device could be used to help treat the coronavirus.

Macpherson meanwhile made no connection between the global pandemic and the biocharger.

According to its website, the Biocharger NG “is a hybrid subtle energy revitalisation platform”.

Benefits claimed include revitalising your body “to perform at peak levels and have you bouncing out of bed” as well as helping “align your mind and body to allow you to work efficiently”.

Elle Macpherson is known for her love of alternative therapies.

With a price tag of $15,000, it is also claimed to help with sleep, workout recovery, performance and flexibility.
