ELIZABETH Debicki will be among the award recipients at this year’s Australians In Film Benefit Gala in Los Angeles.

The Great Gatsby star will receive the Breakthrough Award while Reese Witherspoon’s Australian producing partner Bruna Papandrea will take home the Orry Kelly International Award.

“No matter where I have lived, or how my career has changed, I remain the proudest Australian you’ll ever meet,” said Papandrea, who has produced big Hollywood films including Milk, Wild and Gone Girl.

“It is my home, my heart, my inspiration, which is why it is a tremendous honour to receive this award.”

Carrie Bickmore is to host the event at the Intercontinental Hotel in LA on October 25.

Pandemonium Films chief executive Bill Mechanic will receive this year’s Ausfilm International Award, honouring an individuals contribution to the Australian industry.

Further award recipients will be announced in the lead up to the event.
